It’s a miracle! As I’m sitting here typing this, my two munchkins are playing quietly and nicely together. There hasn’t been any yelling or crying yet. I probably shouldn’t have even said that, because I know I will jinx myself. We have entered “the terrible twos” with my 2 year old. Her most recent go-to move when she is upset is to chuck whatever she has across the room with an overly dramatic grunt. Yesterday, it was Target’s mini shopping cart. It’s one of those parenting moments that you have to look away so they can’t see you are laughing. Moms, IYKYK… Alright, let me get to what I have been dying to talk to you about…this amazing family session with The Baker Family!
Have you ever wished for that perfect friend? You know, the ones that always bring you up, are always there for you, and honestly just so much fun to be around. After you meet the Baker Family, you can tell instantly that they are those friends. There are so kind and energetic! The session with them was so much fun that I didn’t want it to end.
Brittney and Matt, you two are honestly amazing. You both bring such a calmness to those around you. There is a reason you are surrounded by a surplus of friends and family. It’s because your positivity and kindness draws people in and makes them want to stay! Your two girls already have all of these qualities and it is so wonderful to see. Don’t ever change!
Can we also talk about how adorable they all look? I had sent Brittney my style guide and boy did she nail it. When they showed up to our session, I had to try my best to remain cool and not yell with excitement. Just kidding… I did not remain cool and I did yell with excitement. My fellow photogs, you know the giddiness I am talking about when your clients show up wearing a color scheme you know is just going to nail it on camera.
When the opportunity came about to capture the awesomeness of this family on camera, I almost ran out the door! They truly are so much fun to be around. I’m convinced after this session that their oldest daughter is destined to be a star. She was up for whatever goofy prompt I threw at her and lit up in front of the camera. Buckle up dad, she is destined for greatness! Just take a look for yourselves…
